Mankind has become alienated from God the Father by rebelling against Him and ignoring His spiritual principles for living. All of us have sinned against God the Father and as a result our fellowship with Him is broken. Also sin has an eternal consequence according to the following scripture;

For the wages of sin is death, …”Romans 6.23

 The eternal consequence of sin is spiritual death which is eternal death, whereby the sinner is forever be cut off from God’s grace and mercy and is banished from His presence for all eternity! Jesus Christ is the ONLY way that we can be reconciled to God the Father, according to the following scripture.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5

Christ became a sin offering for us, and sacrificed His life on the cross so that we can be blood purchased, forgiven and reconciled to God the Father. Mankind may seek other solutions and worship other gods, but Jesus Christ, alone, died on the Cross for our sins and rose in triumph over the grave and eternal death. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and mankind.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” Revelation 3:20

 To be forgiven of your sins you have to

Admit that you are a sinner and repent of your sins.

Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died so that your sins are forgiven and become renewed and is reborn spiritually in Him.

Confess Jesus Christ as Lord (or Master) and invite Him to come into your life.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”Romans 10:9

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I need you. I believe that you died on the cross for me.I repent of my sins and surrender my life to you. Forgive me of my sins, Lord Jesus, and Wash me clean. I believe that you are the Son of God and you died on the cross at Calvary for my sins and rose again on the third day for my Victory, I believe in my heart and make confession with my mouth, that you King Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I invite you to be the Lord of my life and heart. Amen.
